The Yankee Invention Exposition is a three day event where inventors can learn how to market their products to manufacturers, investors, venture capitalists, distributors, licensing firms, wholesalers/retailers and marketers. Also exhibiting will be suppliers of services to inventors including prototypers, marketing experts, telemarketing companies, patent attorneys, fulfillment companies and industrial designers.
Entrepreneur Workshops covering basic skills will be available. Yankee Entrepreneur Workshops will be conducted Thursday afternoon, during Friday and Saturday mornings prior to opening of the exhibits, and during the showing of the exhibits. The workshops will cover many subjects of interest to inventors and entrepreneurs. The workshops will be widely publicized and tickets sold to the public. Why Should You Attend?
The Yankee Expo is focused on educating the individual inventor. Many of our exhibitors are exhibiting for the first time. The Yankee Expo attracts product scouts, manufacturers, investors and the public at large. Whether you seek public exposure of your invention to determine market acceptance, a partner or investor, licensing of your development to a manufacturer or entrepreneur, or to gain experience from your fellow exhibitors, you will learn first hand what it takes to bring your invention to market.
How is the Yankee Expo Different?
It is the largest non-profit annual invention exhibition in the U.S. and is conducted by an experienced cadre of volunteers with expertise in different fields. Yankee Invention Exposition is dedicated to making sure that you, the inventor, come away with a better understanding of the new product marketing process and endeavor to bring you in contact with the people and companies looking for new products. We are proud of our panel of experienced judges who use thorough and scientific methods to arrive at their results.
The Expo is held at the Waterbury Armory in downtown Waterbury so that you have convenient hotels, restaurants and bus and rail transportation. Waterbury is a center for hundreds of small manufacturing companies. And the setting is New England at its best, with glorious
autumn leaves at their peak for you to enjoy during your stay.

Select experts will meet with individuals on Thursday morning, October 9th for free one-on-one counseling by appointment only.
Computer Workshops
Special computer workshops connected to the US Patent Office database over the internet will be held at Silas Bronson Library Thursday afternoon, October 9th. Preregistration is required due to limitations in the number of terminals. See Registration form.
